Dewi Sri

Dewi Sri (2019) is a production from our workshop with Padepoken Seni Bagong Kussudiardja (PSBK) in Java in the summer of 2019. Stunning music, singing, and traditional suket puppets (made of grass) illustrate this tragic tale of the Javanese goddess of rice and prosperity.
