New Farm Film Series: Screening In His Own Words: An Invocation (2025)

Visit the New Farm on Friday, June 26th, from 5-10 PM to enjoy a selection of short films, including ShadowLight’s In His Own Words: An Invocation (2025). The evening will screen films by Kara Herold, William Farley, Jarico Reese, hopefully Peter McCandless, and Anne Hamersky.

About The New Farm

The New Farm is a beautiful community space that offers a unique environment where people come together to engage in an eclectic mix of activities.  We are located in the Bayview district of San Francisco, across from Heron’s Head Park, on Port of SF property.  We share a space with Bay Natives Nursery and Heron’s Head Nursery, and are direct neighbors with the City Grazing goats.

The New Farm can accommodate a variety of activities including celebrations, memorials, birthday parties, and music performances, with a special emphasis on giving young people a place to express their musical creativity.  Our visitors reflect the racial, ethnic, and age diversity of San Francisco.

The New Farm is the main program of Green City Project, a 501(c) nonprofit, and an offshoot of Planet Drum Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to improving our environment for over 50 years.
