Short Film Synopsis

"Chagall in His Own Words: An Invocation" is an avant-garde shadow theater film that brings to life the early experiences and artistic inspirations of painter Marc Chagall. Using handcrafted puppets and layered shadow techniques, the film visually interprets Chagall’s autobiography Mein Leben, offering a dreamlike exploration of his childhood, cultural influences, and artistic evolution. Narrated by Peter Coyote (English) and Tchéky Karyo (French), the film serves as an engaging educational resource for international audiences.
